BANG, BANG

That right there is the sound of me jumping the gun.

But I'll do it anyway.

I'm really flowing with the prose, and it's turning out good. Like, actually good. Not hypothetically good.

Holy mother of Jesus, I might actually finish this thing. Within my lifetime.

Before my self-imposed deadline of October 1st, 2008.

Before the end of the summer.

*gasping for breath*

Must... Go... On...

I am taking this course called Write Quality by this no name douche, which is really stupid, I found it being StumbleUpon, but I've actually learned some things from it.

Like that I shouldn't be so obsessive about my first draft. Which I can never get past because it always sucks so badly.

I'm rambling. Good luck with the early finish and I hope it's awesome!

Pugs - Thanks! The hardest part is really sticking to it.

Matriarch - YAY for taking a writing class! (I think you mentioned wanting to take more classes? Go back to school?) And thanks for the encouragement!

Don't worry about rambling! You can do that any time on here :)

I'm in a writer's circle with a couple of really talented friends, and one of the things we always say to each other is "the hardest part is getting something out."

Making a piece good is always a possibility, but first you need to make something that needs improvement. (LOL, Does that even make sense?) Unfortunately, most writers are anal about everything from syntax to word choice, and it's hard to stop ourselves from brooding over every key stroke.

D - Thanks for the luck! I'ma need it! LOL

Oh, and when am I gonna read something (fiction?) of yours, Miss Thang? Didja end up submitting to that Pussy Talks thing?
